Villa Rinaldi

Villa Rinaldi is a family-owned Italian winery located in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, where the rolling hills of Valdobbiadene and the surrounding wine-growing areas provide ideal conditions for producing premium sparkling wines.

The winery's philosophy is centered on the Traditional Method (Metodo Classico), in which the secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle. Every wine is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and undergoes extended aging on the lees (sur lie), often for several years. This patient approach gives the wines their remarkable complexity, creamy texture, and fine, persistent bubbles—hallmarks of the Villa Rinaldi style.

The winery works with classic grape varieties for premium sparkling wine production, including Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, and Pinot Bianco, sourced from carefully managed vineyards. The grapes are harvested by hand, and yields are intentionally kept low to maximize concentration and preserve the structure of the base wines. Following primary fermentation, the fresh and mineral-driven base wines undergo secondary fermentation in the bottle, in accordance with the traditional method.

Extended cellar aging is a defining element of Villa Rinaldi's winemaking philosophy. Long contact with the lees develops complex aromas of freshly baked bread, brioche, toasted nuts, and ripe fruit, all supported by vibrant acidity and exceptional elegance.

Villa Rinaldi is distinguished by its commitment to tradition, precision, and uncompromising quality, producing refined sparkling wines with depth, complexity, and outstanding aging potential—wines created to complement the highest standards of gastronomy.
